Peggy Bertelsman of Ft. Thomas served as a vice chair of the Council’s predecessor, the Council on Higher Education. She has held faculty and administrative positions at Northern Kentucky University and has served as the executive coordinator of the Greater Cincinnati Consortium of Colleges and Universities. She also has served on the Commission on Colleges, Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Ms. Bertelsman received bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Northern Kentucky University and a master’s degree from the University of Cincinnati. Ms. Bertelsman was appointed as a Council member in 1997 and reappointed in 2002. She will serve as a Council member until December 31, 2008.
