Potential Transfer Students

The Goal |

In partnership with Kentucky Community and Technical College System and the Kentucky Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (KACRAO), the college access outreach initiative will target approximately 47,000 potential transfer students to encourage them to transfer to a bachelor’s degree program at a college or university. Potential transfer students are defined as students currently pursuing an associate degree or applied associate degree at a KCTCS college.

The Strategy |

Outreach efforts for this audience include support of annual KACRAO transfer fairs at KCTCS campuses, and development and distribution of transfer student handbooks to KCTCS students. The transfer student handbooks, when completed, will also be available online on the KnowHow2GoKY.org Web site.
