Budget & Finance

• Biennial Budget
  The Council on Postsecondary Education, working closely with public postsecondary institutions, develops and submits a biennial funding recommendation for the postsecondary education system to the Governor and the General Assembly.
  
  
• Budget & Finance Policy Group
  The Budget and Finance Policy Group was created in July 2005 to evaluate the Council's finance policies in relation to the goals of House Bill 1.
  
  
• Capital
  The capital process includes the long-range planning and capital budget review and recommendation processes.  This information is used to inform the Governor, members of the General Assembly, the public, and institutions about issues related to the Commonwealth's investment and campus infrastructure.
  
  
• Funding Model & Finance Policies
  The Council makes recommendations to the General Assembly for funding distribution for the postsecondary education system aligned with the goals of the Public Agenda.
  
  
• Regional Stewardship Program
  The Regional Stewardship Program expands the regional impact of the state’s six comprehensive universities through service and public engagement initiatives designed to meet the needs of their respective service areas.
  
  
• Tuition
  Tuition information includes actual annual tuition rates, tuition reciprocity agreements and tuition waiver program information for Kentucky's state-supported postsecondary education institutions.
  
  
• Trust Funds & Incentive Funding Programs
  The Council administers six Strategic Investment and Incentive Trust Funds as designated by the Kentucky Postsecondary Education Improvement Act of 1997.
