Association for Institutional Research
The Association for Institutional Research (AIR) is a professional association of more than 3,100 institutional researchers, planners, and decision makers from higher education institutions around the world. AIR exists to help advance research that will improve the understanding, planning, and operation of higher education institutions.
Kentucky Department of Education, Max Data Warehouse
The Max Data Warehouse, a joint effort of the Kentucky Department of Education, the Education Professional Standards Board, and the Council on Postsecondary Education, is a data warehouse that offers teachers, parents, policymakers, and other decision makers public information about Kentucky's schools, such as school and district profiles, financial data, and assessment results.
Kentucky High School Feedback Reports
Information about each Kentucky high school's class of 2000 graduates and their performance in postsecondary education in Kentucky is available on the Kentucky Department of Education's Max Data Warehouse.
Kentucky Long Term Policy Research Center
The work of the Kentucky Long Term Policy Research Center includes research and data analysis, long-term strategic planning, outreach to the public, and coordination of resources and information across different branches and agencies of government. Their mission is to provide policy and decision makers in Kentucky with a broader context in which to make decisions that account for long-term implications, critical trends, and emerging issues.
Kentucky State Data Center (KSDC)
KSDC and its 78-member affiliate network provides training and technical assistance in accessing and using Census data for research, administration, planning, and decision making by the government, the business community, university researchers, and other interested data users. The State Data Center Program is a cooperative effort among the the University of Louisville, the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the U.S. Census Bureau.
Measuring Up 2004
Measuring Up 2004 consists of the national biennial report card for higher education and fifty state report cards. Its purpose is to provide the public and policymakers with information to assess and improve postsecondary education in each state.
National Center for Education Statistics (NCES)
NCES is the primary federal entity for collecting and analyzing data that are related to education in the United States and other nations.
National Information Center for Higher Education Policymaking and Analysis
The National Information Center for Higher Education Policymaking and Analysis is a comprehensive "one-stop-shop" for state-level higher education data and information. NICHEP serves as a leader in coordinating activities and securing funds for the collection of missing data and information that are crucial for higher education policy analysis.
Postsecondary Education Opportunity
The purpose of the Postsecondary Education Opportunity research letter is to inform those who formulate, fund, and administer public policy and programs about the condition of and influences that affect postsecondary education opportunity for all Americans.
