2024 CLIMB-Health Convening
Sustaining Mental and Behavioral Healthcare Careers

Launched in the fall of 2023, the CLIMB-Health initiative has focused on creating postsecondary pathways at KCTCS for individuals in recovery/reentry seeking entry-level employment as peer specialists. This event will feature work by KCTCS CLIMB Health colleges across the Commonwealth.
- Learn about KCTCS’ new postsecondary education initiatives supporting the state’s recovery and reentry populations.
- Dive into the work of Kentucky's Department of Behavioral Health, Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities and explore how it has re-energized some of Kentucky's untapped workforce.
- Discover how AI ChatGPT will augment CLIMB's Adult Peer Support Specialist (APSS) certification training for prospective certified APSS students using computer-based training (CBT) course design and delivery into the workplace.
- Enjoy networking opportunities with industry partners, campus leadership, and legislative leaders.
